حكايتي مع الحكومة والجامعة الأردنية والمئة وخمسون ديناراً
أولاً ، أودُّ من خلال هذه المشاركة أن أوضّح وأبيّن المدى الذي بلغتهُ إزدواجيّة تطبيق القانون على المواطن الأردني التى تتجلى في أوضح صورها في القصة التالية: قصة "المئة وخمسون" تعود إلى ما قبل 15 عاماً أو أكثر قليلاً وعندها كنتُ طالباً في الجامعة الأردنيّة ، وكانت أوضاعي الماديّة تُحتّم عليّ البحث عن أسباب الصمود والإستمرار في الحياة الجامعية وتحقيق الهدف وهو الحصول على الشهادة الجامعية الأولى . وكان الهدف هو الإنتهاء ومفارقة الجامعة في أقرب وقت ممكن. المهم هو أنني، بعد جهدٍ جهيد، لجأتُ إلى صندوق إقراض الطلبةفي الجامعة ، وهو بالمناسبة ليس منحة أو مُساعدة ولكن قرض. ولكن كان الصندوق إيّاه يفرض على الطالب المُقترض شروط شبه تعجيزية ومُهينة ووثائق وصور عنها بصورة مذلة لطالب القرض. وكأني بالجامعة ومن خلفها الحكومة سيقدمون للطالب أموال قارون أو قصر أو فيلا ... ألخ. وعليه، يجب أن لا يُستشف من تذمري من الشروط وإنتقادها أنني أتناقض مع مرمى هذا المقال وهو تعرية الممارسين والقائمين على الشأن العام، لا شكّ بأنّ الدولة لها الحق، وكل الحق في حفظ المال العام. ولكن ليس لها الحق في...

By Khaldun A. Alqaisi Today 20th January 2017, Donal J. Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America. His Deputy Pence was also sworn in as Vice-president in Washington. I have heard and read about a lot of many people who dislike Trump's views with regard to a large host of issues. Courtesy CNN website image Today, I was also struck by Donald's speech at the inauguration ceremony , the one speech which sustained the same rhetoric and looked more as a propaganda of a presidential candidate than formal and sworn-in president. I think Donald was not fully aware yet that he became the president or he may not be smart enough.
